Randall SERGEANTS Model : Scratch-n-dent!!
Every now and then...Not often, mind ya'...Something goes wrong with a transaction. I had a customer complain to me about this Sergeants Model, saying it's damaged. It is, most certainly, not museum quality, but it's totally fine for a 'user'. I have taken 3 close-ups of the areas in question. Ya'll decide for yourself. If it's too rough for ya', pass on it. If it's acceptable...tromp on it! The Sgts is one of the hottest selling Randalls going right now! This gives you a chance to 'actually' buy a cool Randall knife and 'USE IT'!!
OK: I am almost certain that this knife was shipped 100%...AOK...No problemo. If these little whiskey dents happened in shipment, afterwards...whatever...No big deal. If the knife sits here, I'll carry it on back to the Randall shop and have the guys buff it out! You good folks will be the judge. I gave the customer all of his money back. We're good (The customer and me).
You will notice on the blade, parrallel to the hilt, some smudges that won't wipe off. You will notice a tiny...and I mean 'tiny' dot (mark) on the brass hilt. You will notice a small dent in the duralumin butt cap, as though it had been dropped or bounced around in shipment. Ya'll be the judge!
