Randall Model #8-4 inch, OLD STYLE !
Like many works of art, including my very first Stanaback Special, excellent things often come from mistakes! Such is the case-in-point shown below! I was ordering one of my last 2 'Cracker' knives when the mistake occurred. The handle was drilled too deeply and a butt cap or plate needed to be added. Originally the Crackers were a solid wooden handle, out of my personal stash of SE Florida lignum vitae! Oh well: Enter a unique Model #8, Trout-N-Bird!
The stainless blade, thumb notches, reduced brass hilt, brass & black spacers, custom lignum vitae handle are accompanied by this gorgeous brass sculptured butt plate! I hope you folks like it. None have been made like this before! Hope it's yours!
