Randall Model #8-4', TROUT-N-BIRD
One of the good things about heading up to Tennessee for the Parker show is the stuff that comes out of the woodwork. Such an example is shown here. Sevierville, Tn. is not that far from Rhett Stidham's old shop in Meadows of Dan, Va.
One of my collector friends, a charter member of the RKCC and a knife 'junkie' (just like me) aquired this old Trout and Bird knife out of the Rhett Stidham collection. It has lots of color in the old stag, 7 spacers and a tight-stitched (Maurice Johnson) butterfly roughback sheath...and the sheath is set up for 'weak side carry'! (Some may call it left-handed)
You will not find nicer red stag than what is featured here folks! I hope you like it and thanks for stoppin' by my website. The price of this knife is quite fair. (Rhett's old price sticker of $1600.00 is still on the butt of the knife. It'll go for less than that!
