Randall Model #3-6 inch, OLD SCHOOL HUNTER!!
Everybody's always looking for the...'perfect'...'do anything'...'go anywhere'...knife. I suppose it doesn't exist, but I could make a pretty good case for this Randall knife. Let's see just why:
#1) It's a Randall Model #3 with a 6 inch blade. The Model #3, HUNTER, is the most popular hunting knife in the Randall line up!
#2) It's a 6 inch blade length Model #3...right in the middle and not too big or not too small for almost any task!
#3) It's a carbon steel blade, old school and easy-to-sharpen. It can also be darkened (pickled) to be non-glare!
#4) It has the option of a 'TB' top edge, i.e. 'Top Bevel Sharpened'. Just like Bo Randall's 1st combat knives of W.W.II fame, the top edge, being sharpened 2/3 of the way back make it an awesome fighting knife!
#5) It has a brass hilt, brass and black spacers and a brass butt cap. Not only that, the butt cap was ordered 'thin & round' to save on weight!
#6) Having a leather handle and a brass butt cap, you wind up with a full tang knife! Plenty strong and durable!
#7) The knife also has a wrist thong. This option allows for secure hold and usage under a variety of conditions without the fear of losing it!
#8) Special ordered with a 'commando-shaped' handle allows for solid use and hold in any situation or position. Fits perfectly!
