Randall NASA Model #15-CDT !!
Hi folks,
If you have been following any of my 'builds' you know that I was able to obtain a batch of NASA insulators which were salvaged from the demolition done by NASA to Kennedy Space Center, Launch Pad Complex #39, after the Challenger disaster. A few pieces of this material were used as races and the coloring was a deep, dark brown. The material was G-3 and a piece of it is shown on this RMK Model #15, Airman (Appropriate, don't you think?). I will list all of the particulars below. It is rare, being one of only ten ever made with this material, in this configuration, on this model! A Certificate of Authenticity is included with the sale and it will be made out to 'you'! I sure hope you like it.
