Outstanding example here but with an explanation...Welcome to the world of STAG! Stag has (each & every piece) it's own personality and this one is the perfect example of that. It's perfect in stability with no checking and great amber stag coloring...'BUT'...it's not asymmetric, i.e....it feels outrageously good backwards!
OK: I (and the photos) will explain. Unlike most 'hunting' knives, which go into the sheath 'Blade Trademark in', this stag is shaped so that (if you're right-handed) the trademark will face 'out'. You'll see what I mean in the photos but...man-o-man...does it feel 'great' when un-sheathed and held this way....
