Randall Model #12-9', in NASA BROWN G-3!
The NASA CHALLENGER, 'MISSION MEMORIAL' project was originally introduced about 9 or 10 years ago. 86 knives, in total, were made. The 1st 80+ had a special custom roughback sheath, made by Greg Gutcher of Sullivans Leather. This example was completed much later and that fact makes this much more scarce!
35 (approx.) NASA #12-9's were completed in the Brown G-3 material which was salvaged from Launch Pad #39 complex after the Challenger disaster when both pad #39 A & B were re-constructed! This is one of those knives and comes complete with NASA Laser-etched blade and sheath and a COA made out to original purchaser (Being 'YOU' if you pull the trigger)! It has been in my safe for the past 2 years.
