Randall Model #17-5 1/2 inch- ASTRO!!
A very cool RMK with historical significance, the #17- ASTRO has unique features that are unavailable on any other of Randall's fine blades! For one thing the handle scales are removable to access a small storage area for fishing line & hooks or other small but important items should the space capsule overshoot it's landing area. It is also the only knife made with a stainless steel hilt, which requires a special solder to affix it in place!
Unique blade design will allow an Astronaut to safely use it with gloves also! I hope this #17 finds it's way to your collection!
