Randall Model #12-6 inch, LITTLE BEAR BOWIE!
The Model #1 Randall gets a lot of airplay and accolades as the best All-Purpose Fighting knife in the Randall catalog. While it is unquestionably the best selling Randall fighter and has been carried in every theatre of battle from WWII on, I still find a very good case for the Little Bear Bowie being equal to the task!
Both knives have hand-forged 1/4 inch blade stock. Both have a sharpened top bevel...'BUT'...(I know)...The #12-6 has a longer top bevel that is sharpened! Both knives have full tang construction. (No clear winner there) Both have double hilt, etc., etc. OK: They're very close upon comparisons. That longer cutting top edge does it for me. More practical and, when inverted in your hand, easier to use as a second sharp edge...pure and simple!
