Randall TROUT & BIRD Model
Gary Powers was carrying a Randall Model #8-4 when he was shot down over Russia in May of 1960. That knife sits in a Soviet cold war museum to this day. I'd like to think it's the nicest thing in there...and it's made in Orlando, Florida...USA!!
The Trout & Bird is quite popular as a lightweight companion, to be carried everywhere...everyday! This one weighs only 7 1/2 ounces (knife & sheath)! I have used one of these to fully field dress and cape a 200 lb. Mule deer! It might be lightweight...but it's no lightweight when it comes to duty!
