Randall Denmark Special
Denmark Sporting Goods, in Orlando, Fl. was an authorized Randall knife dealer...just like yours truly. They carried the absolute best of the best, when it came to hunting, fishing & camping equipment. It is little wonder that, when Denmarks was offered a guarded dealer special, designed just for them, they chose this model. The simplicity of blade shape, design and size, along with perfect balance and weight, made the Denmark Special an instant hit!
After the store closed the knife sat in limbo. The RKS (Randall Knife Society) was offered the distinction of re-introducing this blade. This knife turned out to be the second in the series of 'club knives' offered by the RKS.
When the allocated number of club knives was completed and delivered the Denmark Special was re-named back to it's original title and offered by the Randall shop! It was then, and continues to be to this day, a non-catalog offering. They're a little hard to come by and bring pretty good bucks out there in the real world market. The reason is not simple but most probably because of 'all of the above'.
The history...The function...The overall beauty...The practicality and performance causes this Randall knife to shine! I hope it finds a spot on your collector's shelf! If not, in your tackle box, backpack, boat, car, 4X4 or RV will make it feel just at home!!
