Randall Model #15-5 1/2 inch
Howdy folks,
Many of you are aware of the special NASA-related projects I have built over the past few years. Starting with the 'Mission Memorial' project, a tribute to the Challenger missions and continuing on, these builds have been an overwhelming success. Instantly collectible and highly sought after, a Randall knife made up with a handle material that was salvaged from ruins (and certainly landfills) has always been a winning combination. I hope some of you have had the opportunity to obtain one or more of these very special knives.
This Model #15 offered here is one of the very last to be made up in the NASA brown G-3 insulator material. I am starting a small run of off-white, light jade G-10 on a slotted version, but this brown stuff is running out...and I thought I would post one up, available to the 'first come / first served' website customer who wishes to purchase it! I'll describe it all below but the pictures do most of the talkin'. Hope you like it!
A special thanks go out to the Randall shop for putting up with my 'visions'. Also thanks to Perry Miller, former NKCA President and authorized Randall authenticator for assisting in verifiying and certifying this material as true NASA salvage. Both Perry and my signature will appear on the certificate of authenticty which is included with this knife.
