Randall/Treeman Fusion Model #1
This Randall Model #1 is a 6 inch blade version, with the 'STN' grind (Sawteeth grind without the teeth). It was also ordered as a single hilt utility knife, complete with Randall shop-supplied thumb notches...an option no longer available.
After I received this knife it was shipped off to Jim Behring (Treeman Knives) for the 'Scagel' treatment! Typical of a Bill Scagel are the many...many spacers, to include a large chunk of fossil walrus ivory near Jim's reduced size nickel silver hilt. Multiple leather and fiber spacers are enclosed between the FWI and a killer piece of amber sambar crown stag! Also: In typical Scagel style you'll notice the tang extends deep enough into this marriage of spacers to include a large nickel silver 'pin' through the crown!
I told Jim I wanted to use Randall's very fine Model 'A' sheath, in it's traditional configuration and you will see how perfectly the knife fits into that tan leather sheath! What a package! I hope it's to your liking. I know it fits my pistol!
