Randall Model #17-5 1/2 inch, ASTRO!!
I have '2' of these incredibly historically significant knives in stock right now! I only get 4 or 5 per year so they're a bit tough to come by. The all stainless steel double hilt requires a separate and more labor-intensive solder, making this knife one of the most difficult for the craftsmen at the Randall shop to build. On top of that, each handle is drilled and individual hardware, common only to that exact knife, is installed!
Gordon Cooper and Bo Randall designed this knife and it was the first in space, accompanying the Astronauts on the Mercury Mission! I sure hope one of these finds a home in your collection. Thanks for having a look around my website....more to come!
