Randall Model #18-7 1/2 inch : ATTACK-SURVIVAL !!
The Model #18 is well-suited for survival. Many times some of the Randall options are not needed to properly utilize the knife. That's not the case with the #18. First of all, if it is 'truly' a survival knife you may need it in any location or climate. Stainless makes perfect sense. If you wrap the hollow stainless steel tube handle with paracord, or electrical tape or fishing line...and you have to 'use' it, it makes sense to have the handle knurled for a non-slip grip!
More you ask? OK: In the butt cap: A COMPASS! (Well: Yeah!). A waxed Model 'C' sheath allows you to use the #18 as a Divers knife or work well in bad weather. This bad boy has got all of those options! I sure hope it makes sense for you as well.
