ALL NEW: Randall Model #20-WARD GAY YUKON!!
The Randall Model #20, Yukon Skinner has been around since the fifties. An Alaskan bush pilot, by the name of Ward Gay, sent Bo Randall a drawing of a handle shape he thought would be ideal for his skinning knife. Thus was born: The Ward Gay, as it was known and is known again!
The handle shape was used on other Randall models...to the point of being troublesome for the shop to accommodate from time to time. The decision was made to abandon it's use on all models. This past summer the Randall shop re-introduced this offering at our annual RKCC meeting at the Blade Show in Atlanta. It is only available on a model #20, only in carbon steel, only with a nickel silver hilt, only with red, white & blue spacers, only in black or maroon micarta, with the Ward Gay handle shape and ambidextrous finger grips, only with a wrist thong. No other options / no exceptions! The blade is forged from O1 tool steel and hand-stamped with a small blade trademark stamp! Different from the standard #20...Way cool!
This one is my very 1st in stock and 'will sell' to the 1st lucky knife soul! I am taking orders for either handle option at this time. Thanks for lookin' and I hope you enjoy my website. Please return!
